Funeral and Celebration of Life Ceremonies

“Grief is not a disorder, a disease or a sign of weakness. It is an emotional, physical and spiritual necessity, the price you pay for love. The only cure for grief is to grieve.”   Earl Grollm

WHY CHOOSE A CELEBRANT LED FUNERAL?

At times of loss, finding the right words and rituals to honour a loved one can be difficult but when done well this can be deeply meaningful.  As an experienced Celebrant I am here to guide you through this process with compassion, understanding, and respect.

Each life is unique, and a funeral should reflect the individuality of the person being remembered.

ARE ALL FUNERAL CELEBRANTS HUMANISTS?

No, is the simple answer.  I am an Independent Celebrant and I value inclusivity and choice.  Whether you seek a traditional service to include faith prayers or a personalized, non-religious ceremony, I work closely with you to craft a service that truly honours the life and legacy of your loved one.

You can choose the Ceremony that best suits you and your loved one.

  • Traditional Service – €350

This is either at a crematorium or at graveside.  We can include prayers, or the service can be secular.

  • Memorial following direct cremation – from €350

Direct cremation is organised by the crematorium.  You can hold a memorial service at a chosen venue location once the ashes are returned.

  • A Celebration of Life – from €495

This is a modern Ceremony that allows for family, friends and community to celebrate a life well lived through creativity.  The energy of a Celebration of Life is uplifting and positive.  It is often held some time after the funeral has taken place.
